The holes allow all moisture to flow back into the pot or pan. The skimmer is also ideal for skimming fat from a broth or soup. This is even easier when the broth has cooled and the fat has solidified. The long handle is made of acacia wood and the head of the skimmer is made of matte black silicone. This high-quality material is suitable for all surfaces, even non-stick coatings. Furthermore, it is extremely durable and can withstand temperatures up to 220°C.
